Christmas brings a communication blizzard; but despite treacherous conditions we helped VMware get an important message to their partners.

VMware's success depends in part on their partners - the businesses who use VMware products as part of their own offer.

To get the most from these valuable relationships VMware needs a single, clear channel of communication with its partners. This they have - it's an extranet called Partner Central. The challenge is to coax as many partners as possible to sign in to it.

This is what we sought - and succeeded - to do under cover of Christmas 2010 and 2011. Alongside marketing agency Pefectly Picked, we designed and built the Festive Journey to the Cloud, a thoroughly diverting interactive quiz with rather fine prizes.

We cut through the Christmas noise, getting more than 3,000 of VMware's business-to-business partners involved - and nudging a good number of them towards the Partner Central extranet.

In tune with the Float way, the Festive Journey to The Cloud looks beautiful and played beautifully too.
